Connect on LinkedIn“Top Gun: Maverick” stuntman and aerial cinematographer Kevin LaRosa II is a third-generation aviator and second-generation aerial coordinator and stunt pilot. He grew up wanting to emulate his hero: his dad. Initially, he joined the company business, but LaRosa’s dad wanted him to make it on his own. LaRosa worked in a number of business aviation roles before deciding he was ready to return to cinematography. Now, he aims to constantly elevate the safety standards for cinematography and use state-of-the-art equipment, combined with the best team, to develop and innovate in the field.
“Nothing allows humans to move like airplanes and helicopters do. Not only do I get to do that, but I get to help bring that concept to the public,” LaRosa says. “I get to mix two of my passions – flying and film-making – to hopefully inspire young people to be passionate about aviation.”
