Sarah Tamar Kohan discovered her love for business aviation through a passion for seaplanes. She began her aviation career flying amphibious Cessna Caravans in the Northeast, Florida and the Bahamas. Next, Kohan accepted her current role, flying a Gulfstream GIV. She also volunteers as an ambassador for the Recreational Aviation Foundation, a mentor for Professional Pilots of Tomorrow as well as for the Seaplane Pilots Association. Kohan is also a freelance aviation writer for AOPA and Water Flying Magazine. In addition, she is a recipient of the WAI Martha R. King Scholarship for Flight Instructors and the JetStream Aviation Law Scholarship from Women in Corporate Aviation. She also spends her time instructing and flying seaplanes in the Northeast.

“What fulfills me is giving back to this incredible industry,” Kohan says. “Mentoring pilots and instructing aspiring aviators allows me to share my knowledge and passion, helping to shape the future of aviation.”
