The year 2020 presented an opportunity to cut back on business travel and earn his private pilot certificate. He worked through certificates and ratings and realized he could use his background in technology to automate processes in business aviation. Hofmann acquired a company with a charter certificate and learned the business from the inside out, taking a once outdated brand and seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology and modern operational practices. The company specializes in aircraft management and organ transplant transport.
