Zachary Martin
Maintenance Technician, McDonald’s Corp.
Zachary Martin’s passion for aviation began on a farm airstrip near his childhood home with flight lessons from his Royal Canadian Air Force father, far away from the corporate hangars where he now works. In 2018, an NBAA scholarship led him to the NBAA Maintenance Conference where he met the McDonald’s Global Aviation team. Martin participates in NBAA’s Maintenance Scholarship Committee, has served as both a maintenance technician and copilot for Mission Aviation Repair Center in Alaska and is an Experimental Aircraft Association volunteer pilot conducting discovery flights for potential young aviators. Martin’s experience as an A&P IA and corporate pilot helps him bridge the gap between pilots and maintenance technicians.
“McDonald’s Aviation provides the platform for innovation solutions, my global team of aviators and maintenance technicians provide the building blocks, and I help to bring it together, ultimately providing the best service to our principals. Teamwork in this industry is what I am passionate about,” Martin says.
