John Markoski began his aviation career as an A&P maintenance technician at a full-service MRO facility that supported multiple, large airlines. Although he enjoyed the fast-paced work environment and the challenge of learning new skills every day, Markoski was still searching for something more fulfilling. Soon, an opportunity became available at Honda Aero, and Markoski found his home in engine assembly and MRO. There, he progressed in roles and responsibilities, eventually becoming team leader for engine assembly and MRO. Working with Honda and GE allowed Markoski to expand his gas turbine knowledge by learning from the industry’s most talented engineers, which ultimately led him to his current position in engineering.

“The most rewarding part about working in business aviation is the proximity of my work to the direct customer,” Markoski said. “Knowing that an engine we assembled or overhauled contributes to missions that positively impact our customers’ lives is both meaningful and motivating.”
