Connect on LinkedInKody Bjork discovered business aviation by chance; it’s not something he thought he would do or even was aware of. In fact, Bjork initially pursued a career in music. He was a customer service and ramp agent for US Airways when he saw a job posting for a flight coordinator role at a Part 91 business aviation operation. Bjork briefly left business aviation for an airline dispatcher position but was later alerted by a colleague about an opportunity at Clay Lacy Aviation. There, he’s worked his way through various flight support positions and is now a flight support manager.
“Business aviation is ever evolving and the people who make it run are world class!” said Bjork. “What excites me the most are the green initiatives like eVTOLs, SAF and the new emission-cutting technologies that seem to come out daily. We are in the middle of unprecedented times and being here at the forefront of these changes is incredible.”
