Kyle Long discovered business aviation through instructors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. An instructor advised Long to find an area in the industry that interested him and to put his full effort into being great in a focused discipline. With that advice in mind, Long gravitated toward the turboprop segment. In 2021, he fully immersed himself in business aviation when he moved from government contracting to AOG support for Part 135 operators. Long credits the support and encouragement of mentors and colleagues for helping him succeed in the leadership role he has today.
“People are the most rewarding part of my career and certainly what I love most about business aviation,” Long said. “I also find it very exciting to be part of such a dynamic industry. Aviation is a passion-driven field and I find that business aviation has some of the most passionate people I have ever met, which makes every day both challenging and exciting.”
