Shawna Livingston discovered business aviation while working as an administrative assistant during college. Although she didn’t yet have all the necessary skills, Livingston’s manager recognized her potential and encouraged her to apply for a role as a purchasing assistant. That single yet significant act of support sparked Livington’s passion for aviation and launched a career that has stretched more than 20 years. It also showed her how important it is to do the same for others early in their journeys. Livingston earned an Executive MBA at the University of Washington. After graduating, she joined Raisbeck Engineering Inc.
“The most rewarding part of my career is being able to help others succeed,” Livingston said. “Throughout my journey, mentors encouraged me and pushed me to grow outside my comfort zone. Now, I’m at a point where I can give back by mentoring the next generation; I look forward to inspiring future leaders to join and thrive.”
