Growing up around airshows and museums, Theresa Daly knew she wanted to work with something that flew high in the sky. With NASA’s Space Shuttle program no longer an option, she turned to aviation and focused on Bombardier because it was Canada’s largest aircraft manufacturer. Daly had an opportunity to join the Global 5000/6000 engineering and production teams as well as lead the fourth Global 7000 flight test vehicle (FTV4) flight test team. With more than 16 years as flight test lead, research and technology manager, product development and production support, Daly next joined Bombardier’s Defense Engineering team.
“The most rewarding part about my career is being close to the planes and the people,” Daly said. “I’ve been able to be up front and close to the amazing planes that continue to break speed records. The people I get to work with allow me to be my best.”
