The 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) will provide an unmatched opportunity to bring the business aviation community together as never before, driven by energy and enthusiasm for the industry’s exciting future.   • An enhanced attendee and exhibitor experience begins with new, convenient registration location sites at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and Henderson Executive Airport (HND), as well as the Bellagio, Resorts World, Encore and Westgate hotels, starting Sunday. We encourage all attendees to pick up their badge in advance.
  • The excitement starts the moment attendees enter the convention center, where an expanded Emerging Tech Pavilion in the Grand Lobby will feature the latest advanced air mobility technologies that are changing the very definition of on-demand aviation.

Memorable Moments

  • International tennis superstars and philanthropic champions Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi will headline a Day 1 Keynote that will also welcome Inspiration4 all-civilian orbital mission commander Jared Isaacman, who will receive NBAA’s Meritorious Service to Aviation Award.
  • The Day 2 Keynote will include perspectives from FUBU founder and “Shark Tank” celebrity Daymond John, as well as aviation trailblazer and first female Thunderbird pilot Col. Nicole Malachowski (USAF, retired).
  • John & Martha King will be on hand at the Oct. 17 NBAA Coffee Social at 2 p.m., to sign copies of their latest book, Sky Kings: Flying Adventures with John & Martha.

Exciting Aircraft, in and Outside

  • The Aircraft Display at HND will feature the convention debuts of the Airbus ACJ220 and Textron Aviation Beechcraft Denali single-engine turboprop. Attendees will also enjoy a new, raised viewing and photography platform, offering an impressive view of the entire showcase.
  • Also at HND, Volocopter’s 2X electric AAM vehicle will conduct a demonstration flight each day of the show as part of the company’s testing program, ahead of the introduction of its VoloCity air taxi at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Flights will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday and 10 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Back by popular demand after a successful introduction two years ago, NBAA has again partnered with BLADE Air Mobility to offer a breathtaking look at the future of on-demand air transportation with by-the-seat helicopter flights between the LVCC and the outdoor aircraft display at Henderson.
  • Inside the LVCC, attendees can check out the Daher TBM960 turboprop, along with the Robinson R-66 and Sikorsky S-76 helicopters used during the filming of the blockbuster film “Top Gun: Maverick.”

Sustainability Front and Center

  • More sustainable aviation fuel than ever before will be available for aircraft departing from the Las Vegas area’s three main airports. Dozens of exhibitors have signed the 2023 NBAA-BACE Sustainability Pledge demonstrating their commitment to producing a more sustainable event. An expanded NBAA-BACE Business Aviation Sustainability Summit will highlight the industry’s commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Safety First

  • More than a dozen sessions are planned for the convention, including through the NBAA Single-Pilot Safety Standdown and 2023 Small Operator Symposium. Both will will explore the safety lessons learned from real-life incidents and accidents, giving aviators the tools needed to continually enhance safety proficiency. The focus on safety will also include presentations of NBAA’s Flying Safety Awards and the 2023 Dr. Tony Kern Professionalism in Aviation Award.

Investing in the Next Generation of Industry Professionals

  • The NBAA Career Center will host its inaugural, two-day Career Fair at NBAA-BACE, allowing employers to meet face-to-face with the industry’s best and brightest. Thge fair will be located in the LVCC Central Hall on Wednesday, from 1-5 p.m. and Thursday, from 9 a.m-3 p.m.
  • NBAA’s Collegiate Connect program on Thursday will welcome local students to explore the latest career opportunities in business aviation and network with other young professionals who’ve found a career calling in the industry.
  • The 2023 NBAA-BACE Maintenance Competition will feature five student teams from area schools, competing in a variety of events to test their skills. The event will take place in the LVCC Central Hall, Booth C6725 from 1-4 p.m.
  • NBAA will also highlight its latest class of Business Aviation’s Top 40 Under 40, a diverse roster of professionals who are leading our industry to an exciting future.
