The International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers (IS-BAH), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), is a set of global industry best practices for business aviation ground handlers that features at its core a safety management system (SMS).
IS-BAH follows the long-established format and structure of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) program and is designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of business and general aviation Ground Handling Service Providers (GHSP) and exceed the minimum safety requirements. As a global industry code of best practices, IS-BAH will provide standardization to handlers and operators around the world, helping them meet the coming SMS requirements from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
