Business aviation has long been at the forefront of advances in aviation technology – from winglets, to composite materials, to propulsion systems. Now, promising aviation technologies including unmanned aircraft systems, advanced air mobility, unmanned traffic management, eVTOL and commercial space have the potential to provide enormous benefits for companies and communities.
As aviation reaches new frontiers, NBAA’s Emerging Technologies Committee was established in 2019 to help NBAA advocate on behalf of industry on rulemaking, standards setting and policy-related activities by liaising with industry organizations and regulators in the U.S. and globally. The Emerging Technologies Committee also develops resources and training sessions for NBAA members at in-person and virtual events.
