Looking to take your business aviation career to a higher level?

NBAA is offering several Professional Development Program (PDP) courses in conjunction with the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) that can help you achieve your career goals.

“NBAA strives to provide professional development of the highest caliber to our members, and holding these courses in conjunction with NBAA-BACE allows participants to combine educational opportunities with all the convention has to offer,” said Molly Hitch, the association’s senior manager, professional development.

“PDP courses offer a way to engage with your industry peers, grow and develop as a professional and earn credit toward your Certified Aviation Manager accreditation,” she added.

Here’s a listing of this year’s PDP courses:

Elevating Your Leadership, Versatility and Influence, Oct. 15-16
This invitation-only course is designed to maximize discussions and the exchange of best practices, while adding tools to your leadership toolbox. In addition, the course materials include participants taking the EQi2 assessment to help pinpoint specific leadership capabilities. For information on this course, please contact Molly Hitch at

Effective Teamwork and Strategic Goal Management, Oct 15-16
Want to sharpen your leadership skills and be part of a high-performing team that people hate to leave and others seek to join? This interactive workshop is designed for all levels of experience within the business aviation community. Participants will leave this course with action items they can immediately begin to use in their organization.

Aviation Leadership: Prepare Yourself for Takeoff, Oct. 15-16
This course teaches the fundamentals of leadership, providing the tools to become an effective leader in the aviation department and in the company as a whole. The course is interactive, allowing attendees to practice and develop necessary skills for success.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
