Continuing Education – 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Taxes Seminar
CPE Credit
Attending NBAA’s Business Aviation Taxes Seminar provides a maximum of 7 hours of continuing education (CPE) credits for accounting professionals. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour.
NBAA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

Learning Objectives
Completion of NBAA’s Business Aviation Taxes Seminar will achieve the following learning objectives:
- Review the relevant regulations to consider when determining the ownership and operational structure of a business aircraft.
- Understand how various FAA, IRS and FEC regulations apply to the carriage of elected officials on a company-provided aircraft.
- Understand depreciation calculations for complex situations, such as when the predominant use of the aircraft has changed.
- Analyze common state tax planning strategies for the purchase, operation and storage of an aircraft.
- Learn how the requirements for reporting under the Corporate Transparency Act must be considered when buying or selling an aircraft.
CLE Credit
The 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Taxes Seminar has been approved for 5.75 hours of CLE credit by the State Bar of Texas. Attendees seeking Texas CLE credit must confirm attendance while at the seminar by access their State Bar of Texas account using the provided QR code.
NBAA does not submit this program for approval to any other state bar or CLE provider. Attendees seeking CLE credit must submit their own applications using information from this event page.
NBAA will provide registered attendees who have signed in and out with an emailed attendance confirmation letter following the seminar. The attendance confirmation letter may be used as part of an individual application to a state bar for CLE credit.
