He pursued a degree in mechanical engineering to combine his aptitude for design with his love of airplanes, hoping to fly on the side. Now, as a leader of a design team, he appreciates the complex challenges of designing seats that are comfortable, reliable and safe.
“It excites me to think about what our products provide to our customers in the forms of time, flexibility and productivity,” Last said. “My favorite customer stories revolve around someone growing their business and still having time for family, thanks to business aviation – a luxury they would not be afforded if they were bound to commercial schedules and destinations.”
