Connect on LinkedInCaroline Rodewig first joined FlightAware as part of a summer internship, where she worked on a project to predict short-range flight ETAs based on traffic around an airport. After graduation, she returned to the company full time, using her education in computer science to work on flight tracking and machine learning related projects. She played a key role in the launch of FlightAware Foresight, expanding her internship project to a fully-fledged machine learning product used by several major airlines. Rodewig loves working at an innovative company investing in technology and efficiency.
“This is such an exciting time to be in aviation. There is so much potential for technology and data science to improve the predictability, safety and efficiency of air travel,” Rodewig said.
