David Smith’s marketing and sales skills led him to Jackson Jet Center but an opportunity to obtain his dispatcher certification made him realize business aviation is his calling.

“Although private charter is not a new business model, there are areas that we can grow exponentially in, from safety and service standards to coaching and recruiting the next generation of aviation professionals,” Smith said. “My generation has a prime opportunity and responsibility to ensure the longevity of business aviation by focusing on innovation and creating new efficiencies for clients and operators.”

For the past few years, Smith has worked on sales and service strategies, finding a different path from other charter companies, selling time versus luxury. He has seen success in his initiatives through increased revenue and a fleet that continues to grow year over year.
