After several years flying a Learjet 45 full time, Lewallen had the opportunity to join a Part 135 operator as a training manager. His time in the cockpit prepared him for a career in aviation management, including his current role as director of operations at Summit Aviation.
“Without a doubt, what excites me the most about my career in business aviation is the opportunity to ensure the highest levels of safety and regulatory compliance for a top-tier operation. It’s a true calling,” Lewallen said.
