Reminder to Editors: NBAA Gold Wing Award Applications Due July 14

Washington, DC, May 12, 2000 – Applications for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Gold Wing Award for 2000 are due July 14, 2000. Entries should have appeared in print, online, or on-air between June 10, 1999, and June 30, 2000.

The NBAA Gold Wing Award is presented annually for excellent, accurate and insightful reporting on issues related to business aviation by trade or nontrade media in print, Web-based, or broadcast formats. The NBAA Gold Wing Award recognizes journalism’s important role in reporting the significant contributions of business aviation to the national economy.

Winners will receive a $1,000 honorarium at the NBAA 53rd Annual Meeting & Convention Kickoff Media Breakfast in New Orleans on Tuesday, October 10, 2000, as well as travel arrangements to and from the Convention and hotel accommodations during the Convention.
