Roger Whyte Elected to NBAA Board

Washington, DC, July 11, 2002 – Roger Whyte of Cessna Aircraft Company has joined the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Board of Directors. As the Vice Chai nbrman of the NBAA Associate Member Advisory Council, Whyte serves the Board as an ex-officio Member.

Roger Whyte is senior vice president of sales and marketing for Cessna Aircraft Company. He joined the company in 1982 following previous positions with OFAG and British Leyland Austria in Salzburg, Austria; Deutsche Rover GmbH in Germany; and Rover Company in England. Whyte is a 1972 graduate of the University of London with a B.A. degree in business.

During his career, he has held numerous positions with Cessna, including regional sales manager; division sales manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa; director, international sales, Citation; and vice president, Citation worldwide sales. He was promoted to his current position in January of 1997.

Whyte holds a commercial pilot’s license with instrument, multiengine and Citation ratings. He and his wife, Ingrid, have three children and reside in Wichita, KS.
