Washington, DC, September 16, 2002 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and its Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee are pleased to announce that FlightSafety International has been approved as a training provider for the NBAA Schedulers Professional Development Program (SPDP). The company joins Air Routing, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Professional Performance Improvement Company, Summit Solutions and Universal Weather & Aviation as SPDP providers. The dedication and commitment of NBAA’s SPDP providers help validate the need for continued training and education of business aviation schedulers and dispatchers.

A professional training program specifically for business aviation schedulers and dispatchers, SPDP provides courses geared to help schedulers and dispatchers improve their job performance and learn communication and leadership skills. NBAA SPDP uses elements of the already established NBAA Professional Development Program but tailors them to the needs of corporate schedulers. Credit earned for SPDP courses is applicable to the overall NBAA Professional Development Program.

The NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee plans to offer introductory SPDP Courses just prior to the Association’s 14th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference – scheduled for February 2 to 3, 2003, in Anaheim, CA – as well as some progressive classes and a new course.
