EBACE2003 Press Registration

Washington, DC, November 25, 2002 – The media are cordially invited to attend EBACE2003, which will showcase more than 200 business aviation Exhibitors from around the world covering more than 16,000 square meters at Geneva Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland from May 7 to 9, 2003. The only major European exhibition to focus solely on business aviation, EBACE2003 is organized jointly by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

More than 35 aircraft, including nearly every major business aircraft in current production, will be on display at Geneva International Airport in a special 18,000 square meter Static Display area immediately adjacent to Geneva Palexpo Exhibit Hall 7, and for the first time at EBACE, previously owned aircraft will be available for preview and inspection.

The event also will feature Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Sessions by manufacturers as well as Informational Sessions on topics such as professional development, international operations, single-engine operations, business aviation options, the role of helicopters in Europe, aircraft equipage for worldwide operations (RVSM, ETOPS, RNP), JAR Ops II, noise regulations, and human factors for long-range aircraft operations.

Press Registration/Badges
Press badges, which are required to gain entry into the Exhibit Hall, Static Display of Aircraft and all technical meetings, will be issued at no charge to editors, reporters and camera personnel. Press credentials may be obtained at the EBACE2003 Registration Area in Geneva Palexpo Exhibit Hall 7 by presenting a business card or suitable identification. The media may register in advance by completing the EBACE2003 registration form and indicating membership in a press organization.

Press badges are available for pickup on-site at the EBACE Press Room in the Conference Center or at the Registration Area in Geneva Palexpo Exhibit Hall 7; they will not be mailed to registrants in advance. Ticketed Events
Press badges do not cover admission to the EBACE2003 European Business Aviation Awards Reception and Banquet. Tickets are required for the banquet and may be purchased in advance or at the Registration Area of Geneva Palexpo Exhibit Hall 7.

Press Room Sponsor, Hours and Facilities
The Press Room will open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6 – one day before the official opening of the Exhibit Hall and Static Display of Aircraft. The Press Room, located in the Conference Center, will be equipped with telephones, a computer, fax machine and other electronic hookups. Light snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day.

Press Conferences
Press conferences also will be held in the Conference Center at Geneva Palexpo beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6. A schedule of press conferences will be issued by mail and listed on the web site at www.ebace.com in early April, and a final listing will be posted in the Press Room on May 6. Press conferences are scheduled to give maximum coverage by the press without conflicts; only those press conferences scheduled through EBACE2003 will be listed. Exhibitors also may schedule invitation-only press events in hotels, at their booths, or at other locations, although we encourage use of official EBACE2003 press facilities to avoid conflicting events.

Information Center
EBACE2003 Attendees should leave hotel telephone and room numbers with family to receive messages. There will be an Information Center in the Conference Center at Geneva Palexpo, but we are not equipped to take messages.
