WASHINGTON, DC, December 19, 2005 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) formally recognizes Senior Manager, Office & Support Services Linda M. Eaton for 25 years of service as a staff member. In the period of time between 1980 and 2005, in which the NBAA Membership more than tripled and the staff increased from 12 to 65 people, Eaton has contributed to the smooth operation of several divisions, including Administration, Membership, Communications and the Office of the President.

Currently, Eaton oversees support services personnel and manages office facilities and internal communications projects at NBAA Headquarters. For many years she also has coordinated NBAA’s prestigious Flying Safety Awards Program, which provides Member Companies with well-earned recognition for exceptional achievement in maintaining safe flying operations and brings worldwide recognition to the excellent safety record of business aviation.

During her tenure at NBAA, Eaton has witnessed dramatic growth and change at the Association. When she first joined NBAA in 1980 as Linda Nader, Membership reached the 2,300 mark. John H. Winant served as president, and the Board of Directors had just approved NBAA’s participation in forming the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). The NBAA 33rd Annual Meeting & Convention was held that year in Kansas City and attracted 10,109 registrants, passing 10,000 for the first time, a third of today’s totals.
