WASHINGTON, DC, September 21, 2007 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will hold its 60th Annual Meeting & Convention (NBAA2007) and related activities in Atlanta, GA, from September 22 through 29. The event will celebrate the 60th anniversary of NBAA as well as Georgia’s centennial of flight, which commemorates the state’s first flight by Ben T. Epps in Athens.

The NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention will bring to Atlanta more than 30,000 Attendees and approximately 115 business aircraft by some of the leading aviation manufacturers. The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) will host the exhibition hall and seminars, and Fulton County Airport will host the NBAA Static Display of Aircraft. A replica of Georgia’s first aircraft, a monoplane built by Epps in 1907, will be suspended over a Georgia Centennial of Flight Welcome Center display in the GWCC Hall C Atrium to welcome visitors.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

Commemorative Flight “Celebrating the Past, Present & Future of Aviation”
To mark the 60th anniversary of its founding, NBAA has arranged a flight of a Cessna Mustang very light jet from New York, the site of the first meeting of NBAA in 1947, to Atlanta, the site of the NBAA 60th Annual Meeting & Convention.
