Millennials, Business Aviation and the Sharing Economy

Millennials are making their presence felt across business aviation, not only influencing new ways to charter business aircraft, but also bringing a new perspective on the decision-making process around aircraft ownership. Experts say that as a group, those falling within the age range of 21-37 have been shown to prefer use of business aircraft as a service free of ownership risks, which aligns with broader cultural trends in the sharing economy. However, millennials also have been shown to consider shared or full ownership business aircraft utilization models under the right circumstances.
