Cessna Citation Runway Excursion Case StudyPeter Basile, Textron Aviation This presentation will describe how a Cessna Citation 551 flight progressed from approach to a runway excursion that ultimately ended in an accident. You will see the accident video, hear ATC communications, and be exposed to the investigation photographs and performance calculations. To wrap it up, a review of an FAA Advisory Circular and Safety Alert to Operators will provide takeaways to improve safety and prevent runway excursion accidents. |
