I’m an experienced scheduler. Is this course for me?

This course is designed to accommodate beginner to intermediate business aircraft schedulers and bring everyone up to speed on the most contemporary scheduling best practices. Scheduling is a journey, not a destination, and we can all continue to learn how to make our scheduling efforts more efficient and effective.

I have no prior experience in business aircraft scheduling. Is this course for me?

Absolutely. This course is geared towards beginner to intermediate aviation schedulers.

What are the requirements of the program?

Participants must complete all nine asynchronous learning modules and pass a final, online examination. A passing score of 85% or higher will be required to complete the program and receive your Business Aircraft Scheduler Certificate.

Participants will have six months from the time of purchase to complete the nine modules, quizzes and final assessment to earn their certificate.

What is required to pass the final exam?

The final exam requires a passing score of 85% (77 out of 90 questions). The final exam can be taken at any time throughout the program once all learning modules and quizzes have been completed. Participants have three attempts to pass the exam.

How long will I have to complete the modules and pass the exam?

The modules must be completed and the exam passed within six months of purchasing. Module lengths vary, but on average, each module can be completed within one to three hours.

What if I don’t complete the course within six months?

If a participant does not complete the modules and final exam within six months of purchasing, they will need to purchase the course again. NBAA highly recommends participants only enroll in the course once they have the bandwidth to complete it.

Registrants who are unable to complete the program during their six-month subscription will have the option to extend their access for another six months. This extension will cost $275 for NBAA members and $350 for non-members.

How do I register for the course?

Register for the Business Aircraft Scheduler Certificate though the NBAA On-Demand Learning Center.
Upon checkout, you will be taken out of the NBAA On-Demand Learning Center and into NBAA’s eStore to complete the transaction.

Registration must be completed by the individual registering for the course.

What recognition will I receive for earning my certificate?

NBAA recognizes all individuals who pass the course as having a foundational business aircraft scheduler knowledge and understanding of key concepts. Participants will receive digital credentials, including a Business Aircraft Scheduler certificate and badge.

How long is the certificate valid?

Your Business Aircraft Scheduler Certificate is valid indefinitely.

Does the course count towards CAM credit?

The Business Aircraft Scheduler Certificate is approved for CAM credit. Those that complete the course and pass the final assessment will be awarded four points towards their CAM application or CAM recertification.

Is this program the same as getting your dispatch license?

No, our program does not lead to you earning your dispatch license.  Our program focuses the majority of our learning on part 91 best practices for scheduling business aircraft.
