
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires all general aviation and commercial aircraft on international flights arriving to or departing from the United States to provide passenger manifest and aircraft information prior to departure via the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS).
APIS Reporting Requirements
On Aug. 23, 2007, CBP released a Final Rule implementing changes to the timeline for APIS submissions for international Part 135 flights. These changes took effect on Feb. 19, 2008.
