This pre-conference 3-hour training provides everything necessary to prepare you to handle food sanitation risks. AvMaSSi and trainDAVINCI’s advanced training program incorporates real world experiences to ensure candidates fully understand food safety and hygiene within the business aviation community. Our materials help define food safety best practices because we involve specialists from regulatory agencies, academia, and the foodservice industry to create them. ServSafe® materials reflect the latest science, research and the Food and Drug Administration Food Code. This course is presented in partnership with ServSafe®, MvMaSSI and DaVinci Inflight Training Institute. Attendees will receive a national certification from ServSafe®.

This pre-conference seminar is open to In-Flight Managers and Lead Flight Attendants. The session will focus on sharing solutions to common departmental issues, strategies to improve performance and workload difficulties as well as open discussion and an information exchange. We will have a morning educational session related to building and maintaining passenger and destination profiles, storeroom and aircraft upkeep, product sourcing and cabin manuals. Our caterers will be there with us during lunch to talk about recent trends with Q&A, then an afternoon session with a speaker to inspire, motivate and educate us on leadership and communication skills. Leslie F. Kenne is a retired Lieutenant General in the United States Air Force and the first woman to attain that rank in the Air Force. With hands-on experience in aviation maintenance to commanding officer at Sacramento Air Logistics Center (equivalent to MRO), Lt. General Kenne exemplifies the “high-performance” principles of professionalism, integrity and ethics. Her ability to leverage mentorships, develop leadership traits and skills, and overcome obstacles are workplace lessons applicable to all. She has won numerous awards, including the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal.
