NBAA-BACE Exhibitors: Take the Pledge and Help Produce a More Sustainable Show

Exhibitors at the 2023 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) can make a lasting impact by joining the Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge and taking simple actions to make a big impression.

“Just a few small changes can have a large impact and help us create a more sustainable event,” said Michelle Koblenz, NBAA senior manager, events. “Last year, nearly 200 exhibitors took the pledge and we’re hoping more will take part this year.”

The pledge is a commitment to producing a more sustainable event, and actions ranging from reducing printed materials to constructing a booth from sustainable materials or storing booth structures year-over-year, can have a meaningful effect when multiplied across hundreds of exhibitors.

As part of the pledge, exhibiting companies are asked to select at least five actions they plan to take in conjunction with their participation in the convention. Categories include travel, energy conservation, waste management and food and beverage planning.

All Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge participants will receive the following recognition:

• An Exhibitor Sustainability Pledge icon will be displayed next to their company name on the online exhibit hall floor plan and can be used in marketing efforts.
• Company logos for pledge participants will be featured on the NBAA-BACE sustainability webpage and onsite during the Day 1 Keynote.
