Janine K. Iannarelli has more than 35 years of business aviation experience with particular expertise in international aircraft sales. She established Par Avion Ltd., an aircraft sales and marketing firm, headquartered in Houston, Texas in 1997. Par Avion specializes in the sale of new and pre-owned business and personal use aircraft.
Iannarelli is routinely sought out for her informed commentary on the business aviation industry and her expertise pertaining to sales trends in the new and pre-owned global marketplace for aircraft. She also routinely provides insights and perspectives on air travel tips and trends across the variety of aviation transportation platforms.
Iannarelli has been quoted in news and feature stories by numerous media outlets, including Bloomberg Business News, Aviation International News, Aviation Week, Business Jet Traveler, Corporate Jet Investor, Forbes, Houston Public Media, and local TV affiliates of ABC, Fox and CW. She also has contributed to news and feature stories on transportation to and from major sporting events via private aircraft, including the Indy 500, the Kentucky Derby and the Super Bowl.
Throughout her affiliation with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Iannarelli has been featured in NBAA newsletters and podcasts. She commits her time and talent as a mentor with the NBAA Mentoring Network program for young business aviation professionals. She also regularly supports Girls in Aviation Day programs and events as a speaker, panelist, and mentor to inspire girls to consider a career in aviation and other STEM-related fields.
In addition to her position as founder and president of Par Avion ltd., Iannarelli serves as an independent board member of Heritage Aviation. Heritage Aviation is an employee-owned (ESOP) maintenance, repair and overhaul company (MRO) that provides maintenance and support for general, business and private aviation operations; avionics sales; and fixed base operations, as well as supporting scheduled airline service. Her leadership experience includes positions on numerous non-profit boards and is a past Chair of the Governor of Texas’s committee on Aerospace and Aviation.
Iannarelli is a long-time member of the NBAA, the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), Women in Aviation International and the American Marketing Association. In 2019, Iannarelli was named vice chair of the EBAA’s Associate Members Advisory Council (AMAC) and in 2023, was elected chair and seated on the board of governors. She continues in this position today, representing more than 500 worldwide associate members. Iannarelli is also an American Leadership Forum Fellow, having graduated with Class LV in 2022.
Among the accolades and awards bestowed upon Iannarelli throughout the course of her career is induction into the Aviation Hall of Fame of New Jersey, shortlisted for inclusion among the “99” finalists for the National Aviation Hall of Fame, being named a Texas Executive Woman on the Move, one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women and receiving the Girlstart’s leader in STEM award.
A 1983 graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey, Iannarelli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in psychology.
