Younger business aviation professionals are stepping into mentorship earlier in their careers and strengthening the industry’s workforce pipeline.

Today’s business aviation professionals are navigating a more complex environment, shaped by a rapidly evolving industry, shifting definitions of success, burnout and rising demands on leaders.

Panelists at a session on exploring career opportunities in business aviation, which took place at the NBAA Maintenance Conference, said this was some of the best advice they had for people starting out in their careers or looking for new opportunities.

Atlantic Aviation, Capt. Barrington Irving and Chicago Public Schools are collaborating to bring aviation careers to local students as part of the Barrington Irving Technical Training School program.
