Journalists’ Roundtable: Business Aviation and COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the aviation industry as much as any other crisis in memory. What do those reporting on the impact of the coronavirus on business aviation think of our industry’s response to the pandemic, and what will drive the recovery from it? “I think the fundamentals of business aviation are very much in its favor,” notes Bill Garvey, editor in chief of Business and Commercial Aviation magazine and a business aviation columnist for Aviation Week and Space Technology. “If you’ve got to get from here to there, and it’s a thousand miles away and it’s a major deal, business aviation is the answer.”
