Washington, DC, April 25, 2002 – The Associação Brasileira de Aviação Geral (ABAG) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announce the debut of the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE), to be held in São Paulo, Brazil on March 13, 14, 15, 2003.

ABAG – the only business aviation association in Latin America – and NBAA understand the need and have the vision to create a Conference that focuses solely on business aviation for Latin America, one of the world’s largest markets for business aircraft and related products and services. LABACE is poised to become the most efficient annual gathering of Latin American business aviation buyers and sellers.

LABACE2003 will offer a wide range of programs, promote informational exchange and facilitate a highly concentrated learning experience for all Attendees. More than 300 vendor-sponsored exhibits will display state-of-the-art equipment in the air-conditioned Transamérica Expo Center, and a Static Display of Aircraft will be located on Congonhas Airport, the leading business aviation airport in Brazil located 20 minutes from the Expo Center. Local regulatory officials will be on-hand for briefings and feedback.

Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Sessions will facilitate the exchange of information between customers and vendors about specific aircraft and equipment. In-depth Informational Sessions will cover all relevant operator issues, including current and future operational requirements, international standards for business aviation, customs and tax laws, and current and future noise and environmental regulations in Latin America and worldwide.

LABACE2003 will uniquely showcase business aviation to operators, non-operators, regulators and decision-makers from Latin America, South America, Africa and companies from the United States conducting business in that region. This event is designed for company leaders, chief pilots, aviation department managers, government officials, maintenance personnel, schedulers and dispatchers, and any non-operators considering this form of transportation as an aid to the conduct of their business.
