He feels fortunate to have family involved in business aviation during his early teens, operating charter flights out of El Dorado International Airport in Bogota. Upon relocating to South Florida in 2004, his passion for aviation continued to grow. He says a career in business aviation comes full of opportunities and rewarding experiences.
“Realizing the importance of business aviation, its impact on communities across the globe and how it makes the world more accessible made me see the industry in a new light,” said Buritica. “With this new perception I embarked on my journey within business aviation.”
Buritica was an instrumental member of Sheltair’s pandemic response team, supporting safe environments and flights, including repatriation and air medical.
