She is now vice president of Women in Aviation Tampa Bay and works for Skyway Aviation.
“My career in business aviation led me to notable experiences and opportunities in the airfield, landside and career-wise that I wouldn’t experience elsewhere. The most rewarding part of my career is getting to be on the frontline of change in the industry,” said Blackmon.
At 24 years old, Blackmon spearheaded successful events across Tampa Bay to encourage everyone – men, women and youth – to become involved in aviation.
