Connect on LinkedInAndy Castro was completing flight training and a degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University when he applied for a line service technician position with Sheltair. He worked through the ranks as a customer service manager, general manager and director of special projects, while also being a member of the Sheltair acquisition team. He has assisted in the opening of one new start-up location in Colorado and the acquisition of six other locations in Florida, Texas and Georgia. Castro has trained several leaders within the organization over the years. Now, he’s a regional vice president.
“What excites me the most about business aviation is that no day is the same. This industry keeps you on your toes and you are constantly learning and evolving with the industry,” said Castro. “It’s also very rewarding to be able to help others grow as leaders in the aviation industry.”
