Embracing Artificial Intelligence for Business Aviation

Oct. 14, 2019

Artificial intelligence – or AI – is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes, which include learning, reasoning and self-correction, can help improve practices integral to business aviation. “It’s really about efficiencies and optimization,” noted Jessica McClintock, vice president, global account management, for FuelerLinx, an aviation fuel planning and tankering software system. Ed Crump, CTO of AirProxima, a platform powered by machine-learning and artificial intelligence that optimizes flight operations, said, future bookings prediction, consumer behavior prediction, cost optimization, flight parameter predictions and crew behavior prediction are just some of the challenges AI will allow business aviation to tackle in the coming years.

In this episode of NBAA Flight Plan, host Pete Combs speaks with:

  • Jessica McClintock – vice president, global account management, FuelerLinx
  • Ed Crump – CTO of AirProxima

NBAA Flight Plan is sponsored by Schedaero, the software that elevates your flight operations.
