Podcast: Making Professional Development a Priority in 2023

Jan. 17, 2023

While day-to-day job responsibilities may not leave much time for those working in business aviation to explore new opportunities to learn and grow professionally, it is important to make time to do so. The new year offers a chance to prioritize and plan your own professional development.  “Never stop [learning], no matter what your age is or where you are in your career,” emphasizes NBAA Safety Committee Member Marty Grier. “Your development is your development, so it’s up to you.”

In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • Matthew Gray, CAM, assistant chief pilot for The Hershey Company and a member of NBAA’s Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Governing Board
  • Marty Grier, CAM, director of maintenance for The Home Depot and a member of the NBAA Safety Committee
  • Dean Walters, CAM, director of aviation for Jackson National and chair of NBAA’s Professional Development Program (PDP) Committee
