Podcast: Business Aviation Advocacy in the First 100 Days of 2024

March 11, 2024

As the saying goes on Capitol Hill, most work in any congressional session gets done in the first 100 days of a new year. NBAA has been using this time to focus on numerous legislative and regulatory matters that impact business aviation, including by utilizing the CLIMBING. FAST. campaign to underscore the industry’s leadership on sustainability and push toward net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. “CLIMBING. FAST. is our sustainability-focused messaging effort to encompass all of the great work we’ve done over the past 30 years to highlight business aviation’s leadership on sustainability,” notes NBAA’s Doug Carr. “Our message is being well-received. We are seeing that, with data and knowledge, opinion and policy leaders are able to make informed decisions.”

In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:
  • Doug Carr, NBAA senior vice president for safety, security, sustainability and international affairs
  • Kristie Greco Johnson, NBAA senior vice president for government affairs
