The NBAA Management Guide is widely regarded as the industry’s “how-to” manual. Although the document has been updated regularly to keep pace with the evolving industry, the latest revision published earlier this year was virtually a complete overhaul that now aligns with NBAA’s Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) program and includes numerous enhancements, such as embedded hyperlinks. Plus, it’s now easier than ever for users to provide feedback on the guide, which is expected to lead to additional improvements. “The core objective here was to make the document more usable, more intuitive and to make sure there is relevant content for future generations of leaders in our industry,” notes Joe Seymour, a member of NBAA’s Business Aviation Management Committee (BAMC). “So, feedback is going to be critical to making sure the document stays relevant.”
In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with BAMC members:
- Sheri Gallegos-Lewis, sales executive at Web Manuals
- William Riter, aviation department manager for Rich Products
- Joseph Seymour, chief pilot of executive flight operations at The Boeing Company
The NBAA Flight Plan podcast, which ran from 2009 to 2025, provided an overview of important developments affecting NBAA members, and the association’s work to advocate for their interest. The archive of past episodes will remain available for your enjoyment. Please note that no new episodes will be released.
