Before heading to Orlando, attendees should follow NBAA on social media for all of the latest information on NBAA-BACE, and get involved in the conversation about business aviation’s biggest event by posting about the show on their own social media platforms.

“There’s no better way to find out about speakers, education sessions, exhibitors, show hours and more than by following NBAA on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,” said Dan Hubbard, NBAA’s senior vice president of communications. “We also encourage attendees to be a part of the show by using #NBAA18 on social media and getting involved in the conversation surrounding the convention.”

Before the show opens, NBAA’s social media platforms will provide vital logistical information for attendees and exhibitors, and also share what happens behind the scenes, as the industry’s largest event comes together at the Orange County Convention Center and Orlando Executive Airport. From the time the first exhibitors arrive on the scene, until the last aircraft leaves the exhibit hall after the show, NBAA’s social media feeds will bring NBAA-BACE to life with videos, photos and articles.

New this year, attendees should look for spots on the exhibit hall floor and at the static display where they will be encouraged to “Stop, Snap and Share” selfies using #NBAA18. The best photos on Instagram could be named the “photo of the day” in NBAA’s daily NBAA-BACE Report.

Also this year, NBAA’s new YoPro Instagram feed will capture the show from the perspective of young industry professionals. View the NBAAYoPro Instagram feed.

Additionally, NBAA can help attendees connect socially and post about the show via the association’s website, providing a simple way to post updates send out personal invites to your network. A leaderboard features the top NBAA-BACE advocates. Learn more about this feature.

Attendees also are encouraged to download the NBAA events app before heading to Orlando. The free mobile app – available for the iPad, iPhone and Android smartphones – allows event attendees to prepare for shows, enhances event experiences and serves as a useful reference all year long. “Social media allows attendees, as well as those unable to come to Orlando, to be an integral part of business aviation’s most important event of the year,” said Hubbard. “Each year, the number of social media impressions about the show grows and you’ll want to be a part of that conversation.”
