Ensuring Safety for Single-Pilot Operations
Oct. 18, 2018
Brad Pierce, president and CEO of Restaurant Equipment World, takes NBAA TV on a flight in his Cirrus SR22T, which he flies nationwide to grow his business. Pierce was speaker at the 10th annual Single-Pilot Safety Standdown, held Oct, 15 in conjunction with the 2018 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE). Pierce cites training, maintenance and choosing the best equipment as keys to safe operations. With nearly 2,000 single-pilot business aviation accidents from 2010-2017, NBAA’s Safety Committee is committed to providing safety resources for this segment of the community.
Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
