With the FAA’s Equip 2020 deadline only 15 months away, maintenance shops are finding their schedules quickly filling up as owners/operators make arrangements for ADS-B installations. NBAA recently spoke with the Aircraft Electronics Association’s Ric Peri and Southeastern Aerospace’s Luke Gomoll, who said that whether operators go for out-of-the-box solutions or custom ADS-B installations, they need to come into the process prepared – and they need to schedule their service soon.
