Washington, DC, February 2, 2012 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announced today that Hurun Report will serve as the Official Media Partner for the 2012 edition of the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2012), serving as a major promoter and participant in the upcoming event.

“We are delighted to welcome Hurun Report as our Official Media Partner for ABACE2012,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “The publication speaks directly to business leaders in China and across the Asian region, allowing us to generate unparalleled visibility for the show and draw business leaders to the event from across China and beyond.”

Hurun Report Chairman and Chief Researcher Rupert Hoogewerf said, “We are delighted to be the Official Media Partner for ABACE2012. The timing is perfect – just as the demand in China for business aviation is poised to take off, NBAA brings to China the world’s most significant business aviation show.” According to a research report by Hurun Report in October 2011, China is now the biggest market for self-made billionaires in the world today.

According to Hurun Report’s web site, the publisher’s printed magazine has “a proven readership of 540,000,” which include the “who’s who” of Chinese businesspeople, entrepreneurs and wealth creators. Hurun Report also has a history of involvement with successful events that have brought together top business decision-makers.

To promote ABACE2012 full-page ads will appear in the regular editions of Hurun Report, as well as in a sister publication, Wings & Water, which focuses in part on the rise of business aviation in China. ABACE2012 will also have a presence on the Hurun Report web site. Further, a custom-made invitation to ABACE2012 will be sent to Hurun Report’s readership of top Chinese CEOs, chairpersons and leading entrepreneurs. The publisher of Hurun Report will also hold a press conference during ABACE2012 to release its 2012 Wealth Report.

As the Official Media Partner for ABACE2012, Hurun Report leads a growing roster that currently stands at more than 30 media partners and supporters with long-established visibility and relationships among leaders in aviation, business and government in Asia and around the world. The news that Hurun Report will be the Official Media Partner for ABACE2012 comes amidst a number of other developments demonstrating the growing momentum for the show as its opening day draws near. The event organizers recently announced that Exhibitor space has sold out, and the Static Display of Aircraft is nearly sold out, with all of the world’s major aircraft manufacturers participating. The U.S. government has signaled its support for ABACE2012, with Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation signed on as a keynote speaker.

As Asia’s premier business aviation event, ABACE2012 is being presented in partnership with the Shanghai Airport Authority and co-hosted by NBAA, the Asian Business Aviation Association and the Shanghai Exhibition Company. The event – which will feature a lineup of business airplanes on display at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, nearly 100 exhibits in the new Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre and a program of education sessions with experts on the Asia region – will take place from March 27 to 29, 2012.
