Washington, DC, March 5, 2013 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced the selection of two recipients of the 2013 International Operators Committee Scholarship.
The first recipient, Chris Stuntebeck, Gulfstream 200 captain with American Family Insurance, will attend the University of Virginia Darden Executive Education course “Managing the Corporate Aviation Function.” He is the department training and safety officer and a Certified Aviation Manager (CAM).
The second recipient is Tamara Collum, a flight attendant onboard Gulfstream and Boeing aircraft in support of the 89th Air Wing in Andrews Air Force Base, MD. She plans to use her scholarship funds to attend The Protocol School of Washington, which provides professional etiquette and protocol training and certification.
The International Operators Committee Scholarship is valued at $9,000, and designated for use by the recipients for professional development toward careers in business aviation that are related to international operations. The scholarship is sponsored by:

Scholarship recipients will be honored at NBAA’s 40th Annual International Operators Conference, which takes place in San Diego, CA from March 4 to 7. At the conference, representatives from the sponsor and the committee will be present to recognize this year’s recipients.
