Washington, DC, June 21, 2004 – Today Andrew Schweickert joins the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Staff in the newly created position of manager, exhibits & static displays. In this position he will provide support for the Association’s domestic and international Conventions, Seminars and Business Aviation Regional Forums.

Schweickert most recently worked for Brailsford & Dunlavey, a Washington, DC consulting firm. As a project analyst for the company, he conducted market analysis and branding research for two major universities. Additionally, as the firm’s marketing & business development coordinator, he wrote proposals, researched markets and maintained client relationships. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“With the success of NBAA’s international events – EBACE in Europe, LABACE in Latin America and the soon-to-be-launched ABACE in Asia – the Association can benefit from Andy’s marketing and business development background,” said NBAA Vice President, Conventions & Seminars Kathleen Blouin. “He also has a great sense of who the customer is and how to best serve the Members of NBAA.”

NBAA represents the aviation interests of more than 7,600 companies that own or operate general aviation aircraft as an aid to the conduct of their business, or are involved with business aviation. NBAA Member Companies earn annual revenues approaching $5 trillion — a number that is about half the gross domestic product — and employ more than 19 million people worldwide. The NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention is the world’s largest display of civil aviation products and services.
