NBAA Promotes Wirtz to Director, Seminars

Washington, DC, February 1, 2001 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is proud to announce the promotion of Saundra K. Wirtz to director, seminars.

In this position, Sandy Wirtz is responsible for the overall planning, coordination and implementation of the NBAA Seminar Program, which is designed to enhance and upgrade the management and operations expertise of corporate flight departments. She provides logistics, promotional support and housing coordination for all Association Seminars, including conferences, workshops and other informational meetings. In addition, Wirtz’s responsibilities include managing the Informational Sessions and coordinating housing for the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention and EBACE, the premier business aviation gatherings in the United States and Europe, respectively.

Wirtz first joined NBAA in January of 1996. Her past experience includes 12 years as director of marketing with Midcoast Aviation and three years as both director of marketing and manager, maintenance sales of JetCorp, both located in St. Louis, MO. Wirtz holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Missouri.
