Pilot and Disney Institute Author Bruce Kimbrell to Keynote S and D Conference

Washington, DC, December 15, 2008 – Bruce Kimbrell, from the Disney Institute, will be the keynote speaker at the 20th Annual NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference Opening General Session on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. The NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference is an annual educational event that provides timely and valuable information on topics of interest to those responsible for coordinating the use of business aircraft. The event includes hundreds of Exhibits from aviation products and services providers. This year’s Conference will be held at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in Long Beach, CA.

Kimbrell’s background as a private pilot provides him with a thorough understanding of general aviation and the unique customer service challenges faced by Schedulers & Dispatchers. He is the author of Walt Disney & You, a Disney company training program presented worldwide that is designed to connect current Disney employees with the ideals and founding principles of Walt Disney.

His keynote speech will be centered on anticipating the needs of customers and planning for unexpected events. The topic is one Kimbrell is familiar with. He is the author of “Guestology”: The Magic of Measurement, a book that addresses the process of knowing and understanding the needs, wants and expectations of millions of guests each year.
