She decided to go back to school in an aviation management co-op program, which led her to SkyService, where she started as a sales coordinator before becoming the company’s shuttle manager. Now the director of client solutions and experience, Beckitt said the shuttle program, which transports indigenous and disabled children from remote or rural areas to better educational opportunities, is one of the highlights of her career.
“It’s so rewarding to know we’re helping students access the very best education and improve their lives,” Beckitt said. “What’s most exciting about business aviation is how diverse it is. We work with a wide range of people. No two days are the same, and some days we make the unthinkable happen!”
